LeAna Masiello interview

These issues pertain to the Virtual FX and the LCD shutter glasses sold at razor3donline.

What kind of TV will the Virtual FX work with?
How many people can watch at the same time?
I can see my glasses flickering, what should I do?
The image on my screen is not 3D.

Will the Virtual FX work with my HDTV, LCD, projection or plasma television sets?

No. This product will only work with standard CRT (tube-type) television sets. In order to work correctly, the glasses must shutter in exact sequence and in sync with the refresh rate of your television. CRT type televisions refresh at a continuous 60hz rate. HDTV, LCD, plasma and projection type televisions refresh at a RANDOM rate. It is not possible to sync the shuttering of the glasses to a television that refreshes at a random rate.

We recommend that no more that 8-10 people watch at one time. Each person will need to have his or her own glasses. (Ask your retailer for pricing and availability or contact the manufacturer for accessories.) The Infared signal travels approximately 20-25 feet. Each person must have a clear, unimpeded view of the television and the converter box and be seated more or less, directly in front of the television. If you are positioned too far to the left or right of the television, the glasses may not receive the signal clearly.

The LCD lenses of the glasses are designed to flicker – or open and close – in sync with the refresh rate of your television. Most people can detect this flickering effect but will adjust to it after a few minutes of viewing. For best viewing conditions, darken the room by drawing shades and curtains and reducing the light level.

Make sure that converter box is set for 3D output and the LED light is green. Make sure your glasses are powered on.
